:phoned me and said there was a "tool fund" started for me. Really, that was about the nicest gesture I've had sent my way in a long time, during a very rough year. Thanks so much to CaliguyPurdue and vorpalZ, neither of whom I've ever met. If I have, forgive me. Thanks to anyone who sent in funds, or just plain commiserated with me. And let me tell, you, Bernie is a genuinely nice guy above and beyond anything to do with Z's. There really is a lot more to him than just a walking encylopedia of Z info.
:I don't want to sound ungrateful in any way but I will take all the funds rec'd and forward them to TT.net. I don't have any financial issues. I've been broke before but not lately :c)
:Update: Turns out my z31 was keyed to death. The paint is gouged down to the bare metal on the hood, doors, quarter panels . . . but this also yielded some very helpful clues. I was going to post pics but it just makes me too sick.
:I spent the morning changing the locks on all my doors and getting an alarm company to come out and install some cameras. Of course, I filed a police report and we have a very good idea who dunnit. Seems I have stalker issues.
:You guys are great. I feel for the guys who go through much worse, as when their Z get stolen, or personal losses that are much greater. As long as we have our health, loved ones and friends, these things aren't so bad.
:I'm gonna try and lay low for awhile, even stay off line since my stalker knows I like to hang out here. I've gotten some death threats on top of all this nonsense, and I need to break away from the drama, take stock, and keep my wits about me. Peace out.
